Fight the Low Feeling

As you may be aware for some that follow my online social medias. You will know that I am an Individual with Bipolar, Depression well bipolar is more less manic depression and also fibromyalgia. My health highly is affected by how my mental state is. So I want to share with you ways of turning those low feelings into positivity, productivity.



What can we do?

First things first we need to know what is it you enjoy doing? What brings you joy? What makes you laugh? What makes you smile? What brings you fulfillment? What have you not yet done which your still longing to do?


Tip:

Get out of your shell and out of that comfort zone!




Here’s how to do it:

  1. Write a to do list

  2. Make a gratitude jar every little thing that you manage to accomplish i want you to feel proud that you done it. So when a down day comes you may need to open that jar as a reminder of who you are and what your capable of doing and achieving.

  3. Call a friend don't suffer in silence and if you don't have any join some the support groups on social media or find some in your local area.

  4. Retail therapy some may think its silly but trust me it picks me up most times and just being amongst others makes all the difference

  5. Write make a little journal of the good days and the bad days. So when you in the good days you can look back in the bad days and remind yourself you are capable of feeling good. Then in your good days look over the bad days and remind yourself you don't want to go back to not feeling good about yourself.
